Is water an essential liquid for our lives? Imagine how would be like to have a day without water. What would you drink? How would you clean yourself? In what would you swim? In fact, from 57% to 75% of your body contains water. Did you know that 1.4 billion people don't have access to drinking water?. The question is: How are you helping to conserve this precious liquid in your region?

UNIT GLOBAL GOAL: To develop students’ ability to talk about the topic of water
LEVEL INFO: Eleventh graders aged between 15 and 17 years old.

- To analyze the different ways people use water.
- To participate on forums setting up alternatives to conserve water.
- To develop critical thinking about their own use of water.
- To recognize and classify new vocabulary about conserving water.
- To scan a text getting especific information for answering comprehension questions.
- To raise awareness about the importance of saving water in our environment (school, home, city..)
